South Africa Visa requirement of Holiday/Visiting family-friends/Sports Events and Business.

 

Holiday Visa

  1. Passport, (valid for at least 30 days after the intended stay/departure date from South Africa; at least Two unused/blank visa pages)
  2. Proof of funds (Last 03 month’s bank statement signed and stamped by the bank with a balance South African Currency R 3000 or equivalent in INR for Delhi and Mumbai) Required original Indian bank statement on bank letterhead with stamp and signature and no Passbook, e-statements, Net banking copies will be accepted
  3. Proof of hotel booking, (verifiable) stating the name and duration of visit, physical address, as well as contact details of the hotel as well as authorized signature’s name, designation and signature;
     Note for Group Submission:(Applicable in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa and Bangalore only)
    1. Letter from South Africa with Name and details of the South Africa tour guide handling company partnering with (name) travel agency in South Africa, listing tourists and signed.
    2. Copy of tours itinerary signed by South Africa host tour handling company.
  4. Original NOC for leave from employer/ school/ university clearly mentioning the name, passport number of applicant(s) and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of authorized signature’s name, designation and signature.
  5. A day-to-day itinerary/travel plan covering your stay in South Africa.
  6. Valid flight ticket OR proof of reservation.
  7. Two recent (not older than 30 days/1 month) passport size, ( 35mm x 45mm of the picture) photographs
  8. Marriage certificate with Notary, where applicable (For verification purpose applicant needs to carry the Original Marriage Certificate at the time of submission at VFS center)
  9. Original covering letter signed by the applicant stating the name, passport number of applicant(s) and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of authorized signature’s name, designation and signature (should clearly mention who will bear the expenses of the trip)
  10. If passenger is Self Employed GST certificate or Ghumasta License is required.
  11. For Minor Dependent Children Applicant:- 
    • Birth Certificate with Notary
    • Parental Consent Affidavit

     

    Family Visit

    1. Passport, (valid for at least 30 days after the intended stay/departure date from South Africa; at least Two unused/blank visa pages)
    2. Proof of funds (Last 03 month’s bank statement signed and stamped by the bank with a balance South African Currency R 3000 or equivalent in INR for Delhi and Mumbai) Required original Indian bank statement on bank letterhead with stamp and signature and no Passbook, e-statements, Net banking copies will be accepted
    3. Applicant needs to provide bank statement of the person who will bear the expenses of the traveler and the covering / invitation letter should clearly mention the same or if bank statement is from India, then Indian Bank stamp & signature on all pages would be required.
    4. Letter of invitation from the South African hosts stating the name, passport number of applicant as well as purpose and duration of visit (two-way travel date with should be 90 days or less). Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of the host and host’s/authorized signature’s name, designation and signature; and Invitation letter attested by commissioner of OATHS or South African Police with valid date: dates valid for 90 days.
    5. Residence Proof of host from South Africa (permanent residence permit or work permit) attested by commissioner of OATHS or South African Police with valid date: dates valid for 90 days.
    6. Original NOC letter for leave from Employer/ School/ University stating the name, passport number of applicant(s) and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of authorized signature’s name, designation and signature;

    South Africa Visa requirement Business NEW 2023

    1. Passport, (valid for at least 30 days after the intended stay/departure date from South Africa; at least Two unused/blank visa pages)( Along with Old Passport i.e. Previous Passport is Mandatory- Applicable in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa and Bangalore only)
    2. Proof of funds (Last 03 month’s bank statement signed and stamped by the bank with a balance of South African Currency R 3000 or equivalent in INR for Delhi and Mumbai) Required original Indian bank statement on bank letterhead paper with stamp and signature and NO Passbook, NO e-statements, NO Net banking copies will be accepted
    3. Applicant needs to provide bank statement of the person who will bear the expenses of the traveler and the covering / invitation letter should clearly mention the same,
    4. Incase Indian company is bearing the cost of the traveler in that case we would need company bank statement with bank stamp and signature. or if South African company is taking the responsibility of the traveler in that case south African company bank statement would be required
    5. Letter of invitation from the South African organizers/hosts/companies stating the name, passport number of applicant as well as purpose and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of the host and host’s/authorized signature’s name, designation and signature (Host ID copy attested by commissioner of OATHS needs to be submitted if required by SAHC).. Also, submissions at Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Goa, Pune and Bangalore must have host ID copy attested by Commissioner of Oaths/South African Police (latest 3 months).
    6. Reference/introduction letter from Indian employer stating the name, passport number of applicant as well as purpose and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of applicant & authorized signature’s name, designation and signature;
    7. valid flight ticket OR proof of reservation.
    8. If passenger is Self Employed GST certificate or Ghumasta License is required.

    12. Must submit a recently attested/certified (within 3 months) copy of South African ID or Foreign passport with valid visa of host company representative.

     

    Note: The person who signs the invitation letter i.e., HR or Company Executive needs to provide a Valid attested Photo ID (latest 3months) copy by Commissioner of oaths

    • Upon receiving the visa copy, we request you to thoroughly recheck and confirm the details mentioned on the visa copy with that of the passport and revert in case of a discrepancy within 24 hours of receipt.

    • An approved visa does not guarantee permission to enter/exit the Destination Country or India, as it is the sole discretion of the Immigration Officer.
