GERMANY TOURIST VISA REQUIREMENT
All documents must be in A4 Size only. Please note all applications will be submitted by taking prior appointment only by paying VFS charges online and applicant must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
• Original valid passport must be valid for at least 06 months longer than the intended stay. The passport must also have at least two blank pages to affix the visa. (Previous passport/s: If any, bound together with rubber band, not stapled)
• Original 2 unused latest Photographs 35 x 45 MM white background 80 % face without smile, teeth visible and hairs must be tied.
• Original covering letter addressed to The Visa Officer, Embassy of Germany, New Delhi mentioning travel plan.
• Return Air ticket. (If applicable proof of intra-Schengen flight, train itinerary or car rental.)
• Invitation letter and Inviter ID copy with valid VISA copy and residence proof.
• Day to day itinerary.
• Travel Insurance for entire stay with Minimum coverage of 30,000 Euro / 50,000 USD / 50,000 CHF per person. (Approved Insurance companies list attached)
• Original Personal 03 months latest personal bank statements required till date and bank seal with sufficient balance.
• Personal ITR of last 02 years.
• Contact number and email ID.
OCCUPATION PROOF
If employed :
Original Company NOC with stamp and sign & Last 03 months salary slips and last 03 months salary bank account statements.
If self-employed and/or company owner :
Original company letter head with stamp and sign for cover letter, Business registration certificate / GST Registration with annex A & B/ Partnership Deed / Proof of proprietorship or other proof of ownership, Last 03 months Company bank account statements with bank stamp and sign, Company ITR of last 02 years.
If retired :
Personal pension bank statement for the last 03 months, Proof of regular income generated by ownership of property or business.
If Student or unemployed :
Original school NOC and ID Card.
Children under 18 years old, not travelling with both parents
• written consent letter of the other, non-travelling parent or legal guardian, certified by public notary.
Children under 18 years old, travelling alone
• written consent letter of both parents or legal guardian, certified by public notary. In all cases: copies of the passports of both parents (legal guardian) or PAN cards or driving license.
IMPORTANT NOTE
If you have been refused a visa by an Embassy or High Commission in the last 2 years then provide refusal notice or a written explanation about the reasons of refusal.
TIME TAKEN
Minimum 4 weeks after submission.
