Daywise Itinerary


The group will meet at the muster point in Delhi in time to board the Volvo to Manali. Usually the
buses start in the evening by 4 pm onwards. Please carry your water bottles and eat light before
the ride starts. The overnight ride will take us about 13 hours from Delhi to Manali and will drop us
in Manali in the wee hours of the morning.

On arrival in Manly transfer to hotel. Rest for a few hours and start on the days ride
to Jispa traversing the picturesque Atal tunnel to reach Jispa. Enjoy the stunning
vistas along the way and settle in for an overnight stay at a campsite.

After an early breakfast we will start our ride through captivating landscapes,
passing the Baralacha Pass en route to Sarchu. Sarchu is the mid point of our
journey to Leh and is at an altitude of 4201 m, which is higher than Leh. Drink
ample of water and don’t exert here. Your body is taking time to acclimatise to the
altitude. Overnight stay in campsite.

Today we will cover the lat leg of our journey towards Leh, the heart of Ladakh,
passing through high mountain passes like Lachung La and Tanglang La. the drive
will take us through many small stream scooting and water spillage on the road.
We will have to drive as a unit and uplift the adventure spirit of anyone stuck on
the way. On reaching leh check in hotel and rest for the night.

Today we will ride 120 km towards Nubra valley through the iconic Khardung La
Pass. The day’s ride will take us through beautiful meadows and pastures and tiny
villages on the other side of Khardungla pass. We will be crossing the Shayok tiber
today and thereon entering the nightly Karakoram ranges. Explore the sand dunes
and opt for a camel safari before settling into a camp or guesthouse for the night.

Today we will ride through the dunes of Nubra valley and head towards the
breathtaking Pangong Lake, crossing the Shyok River and witnessing the changing
landscapes. Once we cross over to the Changthang plateau we will stop in Durbuk
for lunch and drive ahead to Pangong. Spend the night in cottages near the lake's
shores.

Start early from Pangong lake and drive by the bank of the beautiful lake towards
Tsagala and into the serene village of Hanle, known for its peaceful ambiance and
Hanle Monastery. The days ride will be in absolute wilderness and apart from a few
army posts we will not encounter any human settlements for hours through the
ride. Enjoy the tranquility and stay overnight in a guesthouse or homestay.

Today we will start early and ride towards the new found riders love to
Umlingla pass, the world’s highest motor able road. From there we will
continue our journey to the stunning Tsomoriri Lake, surrounded by the
Changthang plateau's beauty. Settle into a camp for the night and soak in
the pristine scenery.

Like they say all good things must come to an end. As we embark on
our last day of the ride through the beautiful landscapes of Himachal, we have a lot
to be proud of. We will ride for 220 kms towards Manali and cross beautiful
Kelyong valley and Solang valley. On reaching rest for the evening at the hotel and
enjoy the final dinner with bonfire and music.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and head to the airport for your return flight.

CHANGES TO YOUR ITINERARY
For your best interest, sometimes it might have to make necessary alterations to your
holiday itinerary. Where practical, we will advice you before you depart from your
hometown, although occasionally we may be forced to make changes en route. We will
keep you informed at all times.


MOUNTAIN FLIGHT DELAYS
Bad weather in mountainous regions can cause flight delays. These problems mainly
happen in Ladakh region of India. If the delay is extended it may be necessary for us to
re-route the trek and tour, perhaps to an area more readily accessed by road transport.
We do not accept responsibility for charges incurred as result of flight delays and missing
international flight connections. However, we will make every effort to assist you.


INHERENT RISKS OR DANGERS
You understand and accept that your proposed tour may expose you to levels of physical
exertion to which you may not be accustomed to or be exposed to inherent dangers
when traveling through remote areas which may be subject to, among other things,
unfavourable political, physical, health or climatic conditions. By agreeing to use our
services, you accept these dangers and unfavourable conditions.


INSURANCE
You must purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes a provision for
helicopter rescue when you pay your deposit.


YOUR HEALTH AND FITNESS
We strongly recommend that you visit your doctor and dentist before your holiday. You
must ask your doctor about current inoculation requirements. Full details of pre-existing
medical conditions must be forwarded to us when you book. Older clients or clients with
pre-existing medical conditions may require a letter from your doctor clearing them for
the trek and Ease MY Vacations reserve the right to check these documents prior
to confirmation of tours and treks

PASSPORT
A valid passport is required for all tourists. The passports must be valid for minimum of six
months from the start of journey, with at least two clean pages per country to be visited.


VISA REQUIREMENTS
A valid visa is required for the entire destination. You should always consult your doctor or
nearest travel clinic for the latest information on recommended health precautions, both
vaccination and malaria prophylaxis.


HEALTH AND SAFETY
GENERAL
Extensive medical kits are carried on all trips. In addition, medical oxygen and Portable
Altitude Chambers are carried as a precaution on high altitude treks and climbing
expeditions. All meals on trek are prepared specifically for your group to strict hygiene
standards, and sterile washing facilities are provided.


HIGH ALTITUDE
Sickness from altitude can affect anyone. Serious problems are avoided by building in
rest and acclimatisation. For normal symptoms a drop in altitude, or time in portable
acclimatisation chamber, leads to quick recovery.
All trips are graded. There are Easy, Moderate, Challenging and Mountaineering
categories.


TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance that includes helicopter evacuation is highly appreciated


AGE LIMITS
Client over sixty are required to complete a medical and personal travel history
questionnaire. Persons under sixteen can join specified family departures and private
groups.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If the trip is cancelled one month in advance 85% of the trip cost will be refunded to the
client.

If the trip is cancelled 15 days in advance 50% of the trip cost will be refunded to the
client.
If the trip is cancelled 7 days prior to departure, no refund will be made.
