Kerala with Kanyakumari

India has many hidden green gems, nature’s wonders that you cannot find anywhere. Munnar, a town and hill station that has to be one of the most stunning places you can be on earth. It is a picture-perfect place and you can feel your stress just melts away as you take in the breath-taking view and fresh air. We will visit the flower field of Neelakurinji, which blooms only once every 12 years, then the gorgeous waterfalls hidden within the forests. We will visit some of the rarest spots in Munnar and the most beautiful view points where you can look over the tea and coffee plantations. From Munnar, we head to another paradise, Thekkady. The Periyar forest is the safe haven to wildlife reserves where we can visit to meet Sambar, lions, Lion-tailed Macaques, Nilgiris Langurs, and more. Then we’ll head to “Venice of the East,” Alleppey, famous for backwater cruising and enjoy the view as you pass by Coconut Lagoons, the paddy fields, and Coir Villages. From Thekkady, we head to the southern tip of India where Swami Vivekananda meditated, Kanyakumari, to visit the temple and memorial. From here, we’ll head to Trivandrum, city of the Holy Ananth, to visit Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple. The sunset view from the shore at Shankumugham Beach will be a sight you won’t forget. We’ll make a stop in Pookar for a true escape, a tranquil fishing village in Kerala that’s truly a rare find. And finally, we’ll head to Kochi, which is where historical towns of Fort Cochin & Mattancherry are located. These are where we can find traces of the past in Kochi, such as the 400-year-old Jewish synagogue.
