Throughout history, several of Saudi Arabia’s cities have centuries old stories with a few of them dating back to thousands of years ago. One of those cities is Jeddah, a rich, metropolitan city famously known as the financial hub and the gateway the holy cities of Madinah and Mecca. The “Jeddah Express” trip focuses on bringing the best of Jeddah for you, coupled with an exciting desert experience for a full Saudi Arabian experience to bring home. We land in Jeddah and start with a historical tour at the old town of Jeddah, Al-Balad. We’ll explore the hidden gems in the form of popular local markets, galleries, and snack stores. We’ll visit the old house of Beit Nassif, and the old gold market on Gabel Street. The Jeddah Corniche is particularly a favorite of locals to hangout on the weekend, a place loved by children and to just chill by the Red Sea. One of the best highlights of this trip is going to be the desert safari as we’ll brace through the sandy plains of Saudi Arabia away from the city. We’ll on quad bikes and reach a Bedouin-style camp where we’ll enjoy their traditional BBQ in the middle of the desert. When the night sky arrives, you’ll fall in love with how beautiful the sky is, away from the light pollution of the city that lets you see the beautiful constellations. But Jeddah is only complete when you visit the shores and the beach life in Obhur that were the very first few things that made this port city as lively as it is today!
