Experience The Flavor Of Bengal's Biggest Festival (Part - II ) - " Durga-Puja Porikroma "

12th October: Reporting time for Kolkata Durga Puja parikrama 20234from Esplanade at 8.00 am . Ease My Vacation's representative will meet and greet our guest from Esplanade and start our Traditional Durga Puja Parikrama for Kolkata by 8.30 am.

Spot 01: We will drive from Esplanade (Kolkata) to Shyambazar (Approx 15 minitues) and visit Sovabazar Boro Rajbari which is know as Bagwala Bari. Raja Radhakrishna Deb started this durga puja.

Spot 02: Our next destination in Sovabazar is Choto Rajbarir Traditional (Bonedi) Durga puja This was the Oldest Durga Puja in Sovabzar Rajbari started by Raja Nabakrishna Dev in the year 1757 during British period in India.. The important guests of this Durga Puja were Rabindranath Tagore, Ramkrishna Paramhansa Dev, Swami Vivekananda, Lord Clive, Warren Hastings and many others.

Spot 03: After completing 2 most popular traditional houses in Sovabazar, now we will visit Thanthania Dutta barir traditional Hara Gouri(Shib – Durga) puja . This puja was started by the Great Dwarka Nath Dutta in the year 1855.

Spot 04: Our next destination is the famous traditional Durga Puja in the house of  Chatu babu & Latu babu’r Thakurabari at Ramdulal Niwas .

Spot 05: Later visit Pathuria Barir 400 years old Durga Puja. This Puja was started by Babu Khelat Chandra Ghosh who was the Diwan of the court of Warren Hestings . This Oldest traditional Durga Puja use to celebrate at Thakur Dalan that made frommarbles . The worship of Ma Durga confine a single decorated wood frame ,which is know as ekchala.

Spot 06: Now we will go to visit One of the famous historical Bonedi Puja in Kolkata started by Rani Rashmoni at Janbazar. Pitambar Das, her father-in-law, established the Durga Puja at Rani Rashmoni’s home in Janbazar in 1790. The Puja had guests including Raja Rammohun Roy and Pandit Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar. In 1864, Sri Ramakrishna attended the Puja; a month later, during his stay at Rani’s home, he led the Puja.

Lunch at AC Banquet Hall / Restaurant : After visiting above Traditional Durga Puja’s in Kolkata 2023  , we will have our Traditional Bengali buffet lunch .
