How to reach

By air: There are two domestic airports near Uttarakhand and regular flights to Dehradun are available from the major cities of the country.  You can reach Kolkata to Dehradun by flight. It takes almost 8 hours.

By Rail: You can also opt for a train journey. It will take around 29 hours. There are trains from Kolkata to Dehradun. Otherwise, you can first go to Delhi from Kolkata, and then take a train for famous hill stations of Uttrakhand from there. Some major junctions are Haridwar, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Nainital, Kotdwar, Kathgodam, Pauri and Udham Singh Nagar.
